save me a dance

2 Samuel 6:20-22

When David returned home to bless his household, Michal daughter of Saul came out to meet him and said, “How the king of Israel has distinguished himself today, disrobing in the sight of the slave girls of his servants as any vulgar fellow would!" David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the Lord's people Israel—I will celebrate before the Lord. I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in honor.”

This scripture was different when God gave it to me. God showed me how the place you are supposed to get peace and get celebrated in can sometimes be the place where people have the most problems. When David got home he had a whole nation talking about how great he was and the person he had in his life to celebrate him was the only one that didn’t get why he did what he did. However, I learned something from David; even if the people that are supposed to have your back don’t, then you still praise God and praise him in their face, because sooner or later they will want to know what is it about your God that makes you feel the way you do. And, when they ask you how you can shout when I know you have all this other stuff going on, then you tell them you can get more undignified than this. So when people try to take your good day and make it a bad one, then you give God a undignified praise.

Love hard, worship harder, praise without limits.

Walk with me Lord

Mark 10:52

“On your way,” said Jesus. “Your faith has saved and healed you.” In that very instant he recovered his sight and followed Jesus down the road.

I read this Scripture this morning and it spoke to me in a new way that I have never seen before. When he told the man that was blind to go his way, he followed Jesus down the road. Being saved to me doesn’t mean that you don’t have a choice, it means that you can choose to go with Jesus or go your own way. But for those of us that have made the choice to follow Jesus, today is your day to be reminded that you are not on this road alone.

So, when it feels like you have falling by the wayside, remember that he is walking with you and will pick you up and put you on the path. Yet, if you choose to walk by yourself and fall, who will be there for you?

Thank God I am walking with Jesus.

Your Latter Will Be Greater

"For the race is not given to the swift nor giving to the strong but it’s to the one that endureth. For God controls all. You may feel that life has given her best and there’s nothing left to give, well I speak over you, prepare for the rest. For God, He will reveal that your latter will be greater than your past. You hard times will be worth it. Suffering will seem small. Trials and persecutions, God will repay for them all. Hold on. Don’t get weary. Keep trusting in time you’ll see that your latter will be greater than your past. It’s over the best is yet to come!"

I know that this isn’t what I would normaly do for the Daily Love, but I was listening to this song and the words spoke to me. And, while I was shouting about the best is yet to come, I heard God tell me that for your latter will be greater than your past. Then, you have to leave some stuff, places, and some people in your past and move on. Make yesterday your past and today your latter days. Don’t bring over what you don’t’ want to see in your latter, because I believe that it will be greater.

Rear View Mirror Praise

Lamentations 3:22-23

Have you ever just sat down and thought about some of the things that you have been through? I am not talking about over your life span , I am talking about just this year. It seems like the everyone is fighting to keep going, but then you look back and it has been a year of struggle and daily love, messages, God, walking, Preaching, better, Bible study, Church, fighting, happy, Houston, jesus, Joy for the journey- A. Louse Patterson keep going dreams, Learning, Lession, love, School., SHouting, song, Teaching, today, together, strife. It’s some thing about the fact that you are still here and, not only are you still here, but the stuff you came into 2010 worried about, you hadn’t thought about in awhile. And, now you think about i,t you can see that God has kept you.
So, stop looking at what's in the front of you like it’s going to kill you, because it’s not. It’s just something that you will be able to look back at and see God in.
So, today don’t worry about today, praise Him for tomorrow. When you woke up this morning you got some new mercies and when you wake up tomorrow, you got some more new mercies! I used to wonder why did I need new mercies every morning, but when I thought about it, it has to be new because I have new problems everyday, so with my new problems, I have new mercies. So, I praise him not because of the problems, but because when I woke up my new mercies met me.
If you missed that reread it because, even if you feel you're having a bad day, just remember who you woke up with.
