Matthew 6:31-33 (King James Version)
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
We all have needs and wants in our lives, and we spend so much time stressing about what is going on around us. Yet, I find myself returning to the scripture, Matthew 6:33 “but seek ye first.” We are quick to ask others for help and advice, but God seems to be the last person we talk to about our problems. We must decide to put it in God's hands. If we have messed things up so bad and things have gotten so much worse; when you see that you have things going on in your life that you know that you need help, seek first the kingdom of God. Make him your first choice, not a last result. Whatever you need, God has it. The scripture says if you seek him first “all these things will be added unto you.” This means all the things in verse 31 will be added unto you, but while you are waiting on him to give it to you, take peace in verse 32, because your heavenly father knows that you have need of all these things. It’s one thing for you to need something, but it’s another for you to need them and your daddy knows that you need them.
Three things you should do to hep deal with life while you're in need is to...
First
Recognize you have a need (verse 31)
Second
Realize you have to give it to God (verse 32)
Third
Reexamine who you are seeking\
