Issues Only Have One Handle. Who Will You Let Hold Your Problems?

Most of the time, we spend our lives, just like the disciples, out on a stormy sea. We have Jesus sleep on the hinder parts of the ship, but we spend so much time trying to throw water out of our boat, when all we have to do is wake up Jesus.

We spend unnecessary time in issues, not because it's designed to keep us there, but because we refuse to go get Jesus. He's already there. Yet, I've found out that God won't just come into our situation. He wants to be invited. God won't just come in and take over your problem.

It's something like a pot with one handle. A cook may only need one handle to maneuver the pan like they need to. But, in life, if you learn that your situation is too much to handle, you have someone you can turn it over to.

Turn over the only handle that you have and allow God to get into your situation. He'll work it out. It could be that things are the way they are, because they're in your hands. Try things in God's hands.
